Two leading specialist engineering companies serving the manufacturing industry have joined forces to offer complete high speed machining packages for both CNC machines and robotic installations.


The companies, High Gain Technology and Newcomer UK Ltd, have been working together for 30 years and offer complementary specialist engineering services and solutions.


Rugby based High Gain Technology provide Peron Speed electro spindles, ATT air turbine spindles, Fahrion ultra precision tool holders, ILC near dry lubrication and Palbit cutting tools.


Established over thirty years ago by Dick Langley, High Gain Technology is now one of the UK’s leading providers of high-speed spindles to UK and international manufacturers.


Clients include AMRC, Rolls Royce, QM Systems, Mitras Automotive and Broadwater Mouldings.
Coventry based Newcomer are a leading UK distributor of tooling systems.


They provide precision collet systems, Fahrion tool holding, Albrecht APC milling chucks, ATT air turbine spindles Royal work holding and Huot tool storage.


By working together, the new venture will offer a complete service to manufacturers. It will continue to trade under the High Gain Technology banner.

When integrating an Electrospindle onto a Robot as an end effector, the productivity of the machining cell can be enhanced with the addition of an auto tool change system.


Auto tool changing can be provided for 10 tools. The tool holders can be accommodated up to HSK80B.
The system comes complete with tool forks, positional proximity switches and cabling for connecting to the robot interface cabinet.
